Movie Review for Up

This movie is a nice and PG movie. This movie is a great family movie too which parents and children can learn a lot of moral value from the movie. It is about adventure, friendship, royalty of a dog, and great boy role model. This movie did tell us we have to have our own dream, not just helping other to accomplish their dream. For example, the old man, Carl Fredricksen use his whole life to accomplish his wife dream. After his wife dead and he did bring his house to the destination. He realized that he has nothing to do. He is chasing his wife dream in his entire life. Other than that, the royalty of the dog express very well in this movie. That's why dogs are man's best friend. The Labrador in this movie follow Carl and Russell everywhere and protect them from danger. Even though Carl dislike it but Dug still follow them everywhere.

Movie Review for Ice Princess

This movie is very great and inspiring. It motivated me a lot. This movie is about sport and some physic concept used in daily life. This movie told us that people not only can have one dream. You may have many dream. In this movie, Casey is very good in physic. She want to apply a scholarship so she did a project about the movement of ice skating. She use physic knowledge in the movement of ice skating. Here, she start to learn how to skate and she realize that she love this sport very much. Even though her mum does not agree but she still continue to skate because she know she like it very much. From here, the moral value that i get is never give up to your dream. It might have somebody to disturb or stop you but do not give up. Someday, you will success as Casey in the movie.

MOVIE REVIEW: ICE PRINCESS

It’s a movie about Casey, high school physics geek whose mother has groomed her for Harvard. To become a graceful swan on ice, Casey must make her mother understand that Harvard is her mother's dream, not Casey's. "Ice Princess" shows mothers trying to live their lives through their daughters and daughters strong enough to choose their own paths. The girls manage to remain loving despite their mothers' mistakes. The story demonstrates that family and personal conflicts can be resolved with caring. In this movie, I admire the heroine, Casey (Michelle Trachtenberg), she is really beautiful especially when she is skating and she try her best to achieve her dream to be graceful ice skater. She was driven to accomplish something and did it. She was nice to everyone and, other than lying to her mother to spare her mother's feelings, she did nothing wrong. It is a movie that inspired the viewers to struggle and try their best to achieve the dream.

MOVIE REVIEW: UP

It is an animation movie, directed by Pete Docter that tells a story that is both funny and tender; conveying a moral that our connection with others is what makes life meaningful. Several moments may be frightening for young children, and the movie deals with the reality of death and loss. The story begin with 78-year-old balloon salesman, Carl Fredricksen is pushed beyond his limit when builders force him to move out of his own home, where he and his late wife had built their lives. He has a stowaway, an 8-year-old kid named Russell. Up the film is a film that all the family will definitely enjoy it. It is a comical animation that includes a young hyperactive boy and an old grumpy man. In this movie there are many morals value that we can apply in our life. Our connection with others is what makes life meaningful. When Kevin, a strange and very large bird captured by Charles Muntz, the adventurous, Carl and Russell try their best to rescue Kevin. This show the great relationship between human and animals.

This movie is a 2009 American 3D comedy drama which is an adventure film directed by Pete Docter that tells the story of an elderly widowed named Carl Fredricksen and a young wilderness explorer named Russell. This story is funny and tender to watch, conveying a moral that our connection with others is what makes our life more meaningful. This movie is packed with lovely jokes and some of them are funny inexplicable way. The adventure began when he was tying thousands of balloons to his home. A 78 year old Carl set out to fulfill his dream to see the wilds of South America and to complete a promise he made to his beloved wife, Ellie. The promise was to move their house to a very particular spot next to Paradise Folks in Venezuela. What makes this movie such a satisfying film is the story of an old man deciding that he still has life left to be lived and that life is an adventure. In this movie, there are many moral values that we can apply in our life. First and foremost, the value of love. In this movie, Carl loves his wife so much that he is willing to fulfill his promise to his wife to move their house next to the Paradise Folks in Venezuela. Other than that, the value of kindness also have been shown throughout this movie. When Russell was determined to go and safe his friend, Kevin a bird that has been caught by Charles. This show a great relationship between human and animals. So, as a conclusion, up is a movie which gives inspiration to others.

MOVIE REVIEW : ICE PRINCESS

This movie was directed by Tim Fywell, a 2005 American movie. The film focuses on Casey Carlyle, a normal youth who gives up a promising future academic life in order to pursue her new-found dream of becoming a professional figure skater. When I watch this movie, I really enjoyed it when the first time I watch it. I have never heard of this movie before but I really like it when I watch it. I really loves to see the way Casey skate because I have never been or try to skate before. Other than that, I can see that Casey is a very determined teenagers because she tries her best to get what she want although there are lots of obstacle. In this movie, we can see that if we dream of becoming someone or something and we work hard for it, nothing is impossible.

This movie is about Casey Carlyle, seventeen years old physic geek and a bookworm. She is just like me although I am not taking physic right now.Actually, ice skating is Casey childhood hobby and she just realize that she can make a perfect project to get the scholarship for her studies. At first, everything was to get the scholarship but when Casey realize that this is what she want, she grab the opportunity given to her and joined the competition. She has to go through a lot before her dream become a true dream because along her journey to become a professional skater, her mother did not support her to become one. She wants her daughter to pursue her studies at the Harvard University so stat she will have a good future.

There was the time in the competition, she slips and falls but when she saw her mother in the spectator stands boosts her confidence and she gives an excellent performance that night. When she first join the skate competition, the slips and falls also happen but she did not give up and try her best to do the best performances among all the skaters. I think people should learn from Casey and do not give up on achieving something that we can call "dream".

Movie Review : Up! & Ice Princess

In my point of view, Ice Princess had given me a lot of impact; especially as a student. Basically, Casey Carlyle (Michelle Trachtenberg) is a physics geek, which she would took every single thing into physics matters. But, in other different dimension, she got a hidden talent which is ice skating. Her graceful movements while ice skating would totally wowed us. Despite of being a total genius, she prefer to be a professional ice skater. How could a physics geek that had a total complicated brain able to dance so nice like she got a music box on her head? Thus, I'll discuss about the top two most affected scene to me; the scene of work as hard as you can and go for your dream.

First and foremost, for we know that when Casey got a big argument with Tina Harwood (Kim Cattrall), she began to stop skating at the ice skating centre. Since her passion towards ice skating was never fade, she keep practising it. The different thing was only the place, she was not skating on the real ice skate arena but on a frozen lake near her house. From this scene we know that nothing can prevent you to do what you like as long as you work hard so much for it. The most adorable part was when Teddy (Trevor Blumas) came with his ice polish truck and polished the lake so that Casey could skate better. In nowadays world, I bet there will be only one in a million man that can be as sweet as Teddy.

In fact, to be true, everyone's dream would never come true. So did Casey. Her mother (Joan Cusack) expected her to be the perfect child with a great grade and studied in a great institution. There was a scene where Casey finally ruined her Harvard interview just for achieving her dream; being a great ice skater. Through this I learnt that once we got a dream and we really have the passion for it, we just need to keep aiming and go for it. It is our life and do not let others to indoctrinate it.

After watching this movie, there is only one thing that I want to say, this movie is so supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Up!, an American animation movie directed by Pete Docter is a total interest-captured movie I had ever watched.

In my point of view, I love the most the scene where Carl Fredricksen met his life partner, Ellie, when they were just so young and ended with a lovely marriage. They got the same idol and the same dream but Ellie only made it halfway since she got problem with her health and died. Though she could not even give Carl a baby, Carl never thought that it was a problem. He helped Ellie to grab back her lost cute smile and they planned to a have a better life. Can you imagine how lucky Ellie was for having that kind of hubby? This shows me that true love will never break apart till death come.

Despite of the romantic stuffs, another thing that wowed me so much is when Carl was so determined to move his house by using thousands of helium balloons and travelled to Paradise Fall; a place where his late wife wish to build their life there. It was so funny to see an old man that have to travel by his house with uninvited scout child, Russell. The journey was getting complicated mostly caused by that little boy.

In a nutshell, I can reward this movie with double thumbs up for the quirkiness. It was such a beautiful story that taught us a lot. Learn to love someone sincerely, help everyone and try to reach to the top of your dream.

Movie Review for ICE PRINCESS

The movie shows how a high-school bookworm transforms into a very talented skater. Brainy Casey Carlyle has never quite fit in. Caught between her fantasy of becoming a championship figure skater and her strong-willed mother, who wants her to get the scholarship of Physics in University of Harvard, she can only hope to be like Nikki, Tiffany and Gen--three elite skating prodigies who are ruthlessly competing on the US National circuit (and have attitudes to match). Casey has done the experiment on how Physics formula can be applied in skating for the scholarship. Then,she applied it by herself by skating.
Then Casey gets the chance to train with Gen and her coach, a former talented skater (Gen's mother). She has made the decision that she must dash her own mother's hopes in order to pursue her dream. Now, with only the support of Gen's teenage brother, a hunky Zamboni driver, Casey takes on the challenge of her life when she finds herself competing against the best to make it into the championship circuit.
Casey's strong will in pursuing her dream has made her mother change her mind. She then become a big supporter to her daughter when she came to the competition to support her. Then,she win the competition and has become the true "ice princess".
I can see that how a deep interest on something can change our life . We can get everything we want as long as we keep trying to achieved it.

Movie Review for UP

The movie tells us about the journey of life of Carl Fredrickson. He is a little boy and a dreamer who idolizes the adventurer Charles Munts. Then he meets Ellie, who also worships Munts, they become close friends. They share everything about their interest. Then,they grow up together. They finally married. They promise to each other that they will live together forever and they will travel together to Paradise Falls and build the house at there. However,their dream are destroyed when Ellie died a few years later. Carl, who's lonely, refuses to move from their house despite the offers of the owner of a construction company. When Carl accidentally hits a worker that damaged his mailbox, he is sentenced to move to a retirement home. He uses many balloons to float his house in order to travel to Paradise Falls.
The adventures is started when he met Russell (Jordan Nagai), a little boy who has the same interest as him. On their journey there,they found Charles Munts and they felt very proud. However,they were disappointed when they know that the adventurer was very bad person. They faced many obstacle when they trying to save the bird. It became a conflict when Carl have to choose between his house and saved the birds. He then save the birds.
At Paradise Falls, Carl and Ellie's house has landed right at the spot where it was meant to be: on the cliff overlooking the falls.I can see how someone have to let go their love one for others sake. However,we will get the reward on every kindness we done.

Ice Princess

Ice Princess is a story about a 17 year-old physics geek, Casey Carlyle, who wanted to do a summer science project related to the connections of physics in Ice skating in order for her to gain a scholarship to Harvard. At first, she observed other skaters at her local ice skating rink but then she decided to try experiment her founding by improving her ice skating skills which made here realized about her passion for ice skating. This had led her change from a physics geek to an ice skater. With the help from Tina and her daughter, Gen, Casey managed to capture the spectators and the juries’ eyes in the sectional. Although her mother, Joan, disagree with her decision for embracing this sport, her mother finally accept her choice and gave full support during her performance.

Ice Princess is a very good movie to watch especially for teenagers because of the messages and values that can be seen from this movie. It teaches us that if we have a dream, go for it. We can clearly see it from Casey. Casey, a physics geek, have a dream of becoming a professional ice skater and even though her mother was really against her idea, she still keep on trying to fulfil her dream. And yes, she finally fulfil it. From here, I learned that nobody can’t stop our dream except our own self. If we want to achieve our dream, we have to go for it. Do what we can do to achieve it. Make sacrifice because we can’t achieve something without sacrifice something. Although her relationship with her mother was kind of bad because of her decision, her mother finally approves it and here is another lesson that I think most parents and us should take note: Let their child do what they want and don’t force them to fulfil your unfulfilled dreams!

Overall, this movie is a very good and inspirational for all of us to watch and I would recommend anyone to watch this movie so that it will inspire them to do not stop following and fulfilling your dreams.

Up!

Up! Is a story about an old man, Carl Fredricksen, who set on a journey to Paradise Fall in order to fulfil his promise that he had made with his dead wife. He tied thousands of balloons to lift his house and off he went! But he didn’t realize that there was passenger with him. The unexpected passenger was a young scout boy name Russell and together they both embark a journey that change their life

The movie Up! is a very heart-warming movie. We can clearly see it during the first part of the movie where it shows Carl and his wife’s (Ellie) relationship from when they are young till the end of Ellie’s life. I have to admit when I watched the first part of the movie, tears started to fill my eyes. It is sad and sweet, especially when Carl decided to keep that promise and making their life-long dream comes true. This story also tells us about the value of love. Love towards the elderly. Towards the young, the animals and the nature. The interaction between Carl and Russell is also important. We can see how Carl character develop. From cranky old man to a caring old man and Russell finally have someone, an adult, and a father figure to care for him. Not only that, this story also teaches us to value the nature. We have to protect the nature surrounding us. We can’t let them being endangered by greedy people like Charles F. Muntz, who in the movie acts as a villain and try to capture an almost-extinct bird.

Overall, this movie teaches us a lot of value and most of them are love. This movie is very good for all of us to watch it, especially children and the adults. Take the lesson to your heart because this movie will definitely make you realize about the people around you and also make you value them until the end.
